A driver must record and certify in the ELD: duty status (off duty, sleeper berth, driving, on-duty not driving) [1(a)(b)], location descriptions [1(c)(1)(ii)], vehicle/trailer numbers [1(c)(2)(i-ii)], shipping document numbers [1(c)(2)(iii)], annotations [1(c)(1)(i)], and certify accuracy via ELD's 'Agree' function [5(b)(2)]. Drivers must also manually input or verify commercial motor vehicle power unit/trailer numbers and shipping document numbers [1(c)(2)].
